What an exciting day for Jill. She has been waiting for this day for an eternity - at least that is how it felt to her. If I had to hear one more time that her cousin Katie was playing soccer and she was younger than Jill I think I might have screamed. But now Jill is playing so she is happy! We got all ready and headed out this morning to Soccer Blast. Jill will be playing indoor soccer with the Turf Tykes league.
When we arrived at soccer, all the lights were out and there was only one other child there. It turns out one of my good friends has her son signed up to play also. Anyway, we were not informed that the class was changed and will begin next week instead of today. Coach Rob, understanding how upset the kiddos would be quickly informed them that he was going to turn on the field lights, get out the little goals and soccer balls and they could play as long as they wanted! What a great coach!! This meant Luke also got to get in a little soccer time. Two of Luke's favorite things are running and soccer balls. Needless to say they had a blast.
Wow - Look at all these soccer balls!!
They are too cute! Please give them hugs and kisses from Aunt Carol and Uncle Harry!
ReplyDeleteLove the new pics. Luke is so big! I know I just saw him a few weekends ago, but they do grow so fast. He looks like a little man.
