It is official - summer is here and we are so excited! One of our favorite summer activities is going to the lake and we had the chance to do just that on Memorial day. Some of our friends were also able to join us and that made the day even more enjoyable! We did have to dodge a few raindrops, but we had several hours of uninterrupted sunshine, just enough to keep us content until next weekend! :-) Hopefully, the poor boat will dry out before then. (Jamie pumped 35 gallons of water out of the boat after it sat out in the rain Sunday night and Monday afternoon.)

A day at the lake wouldn't be complete without a trip down the slide! Even Luke went down a few dozen times - but I am sure no one is surprised! He doesn't know the meaning of fear!

ReplyDeleteHey Aunt Susan! I promise to do a better job at keeping things up to date. It is a good way for all the family to keep up with us being a little far away. Anytime you make it up Birmingham way, just let me know and we can get together. Jamie is working a job in Nacogdoches, TX and we hope to get out there this summer for a week. Maybe we will be there while Uncle Lionel is there. That would be funny traveling to TX & getting to see him! Love you bunches! LeeLee
